Mallory drew away from Ryan, scanning the village. From where she stood, she saw the freed captives searching the nearby buildings, easily spotted. “We have night vision potions.”
“What about them?” Emica demanded.
Mallory faced the group. “Cutthroat Harbour is their base in the area.”
Several of them nodded.
“What are you getting at?” Emica asked.
“There were approximately thirty here,” Mallory said.
Callum interrupted before Mallory could continue. “Twenty-six. Unless you count the ones we ran into at the wayshrine.”
“So it’s logical that there will be more than thirty at Cutthroat Harbour,” Mallory said.
“Are you trying to get out of going after my father?” Emica demanded.
Mallory shook her head.
Ryan grinned. “We go at night.”
