The time was running out on her invisibility so Mallory cast it on herself again, resetting the time. She did the same for Emica the moment she reappeared. “Our friends are hiding amongst the trees behind the cages. I’ll make you invisible and you can join them.” When the traveller nodded, she drew mana from one of the small crystals in her satchel and cast vanish I on him.
“What about my father?” Emica asked from beside Mallory.
Moving to stand in front of the open cage, Mallory ran into the invisible kitsune, Emica moving away from her. Mallory placed her hand on Hisoki, gaining a sense of his injuries.
