Taking a deep breath, Mallory made herself invisible before she strode along the road. She wanted to be in cover before the spell wore off, but also didn’t want to make noise and catch anyone’s attention. She was nearly at the barn when the spell wore off. A glance in both directions showed nothing. She had no idea if she should cast the spell again or if it’d be a waste and she’d be desperate for the mana later. Before she could do little more than mentally debate the issue, she reached the barn. The door was slightly ajar.
