The Hunt Begun

There was a man named Idan Vince Yugo Bandino who lived in a house where he was happily living with his parents, Evelyn Yugo Bandino and Edwin Reyes Bandino. One day, while the family was having fun, a person suddenly entered with a sword. Idan saw this and quickly grabbed his sword, jumped high, and their swords clashed.

Donatelo: Happy birthday, your sword skills have improved finally.

Idan: Of course, I'm getting stronger to beat you, Dona.

Edwin: You know, even though it's just a toy, you can still get hurt. You know it's made of wood.

Wina: You also didn't seem like that when you were younger.

Evelyn: Oh, you're already here, have a seat, and we still have a lot of fun things to talk about.

Wina: You have a lot of gossip, and so do I. Let's take a seat.

And at that moment, Wina Bandino Magi, Richard Rosa Magi, and their child Donatelo Bandino Magi arrived. After a few hours, the other family members arrived: Jerome Yugo Bandino and Ashlie Leo Bandino, Amina Maugo Bandino, and their mother, Bernadette Yugo Bandino. After a while, the celebration of Idan's eighteenth birthday began, and they all laughed, enjoyed themselves, and sang. But all their happy days vanished when Bernadette asked about a ritual.

Bernadette: You're already eighteen years old, son, are you ready for the ritual?

Idan: What ritual, grandma?

After Idan's question, everyone in the house suddenly fell silent.

Ashlie: Didn't you tell your child about the ritual, Edwin?

Edwin: I-I don't know, do we need to continue that?

Evelyn: Edwin, what? And what does your mother say about the ritual?

Before Edwin could speak, Bernadette immediately spoke up.

Bernadette: The ritual we perform is that after the eldest child turns eighteen, your child will be sent to an island where they will be hunted by three hundred people. If they die within seven days, they will become food for those people, but if they survive for seven days, they will become a full-fledged Bandino.

Evelyn: WHAT?!?! ARE YOU GOING CRAZY??

Edwin: My love-

Evelyn: don't call me love

Simultaneously grabbed Idan's hand and took the clothes, and while Evelyn held Idan's hand, Donatelo immediately followed them.

Evelyn: that ritual won't happen, and I will tell everyone.

Donatelo: Cousin, I'm getting scared.

Evelyn: Come with us, Donatelo, maybe they'll make food for your family.

Idan: Mom, I'm afraid too.

Evelyn: Come on, child, we're leaving here.

But when Evelyn opened the door, Jerome shot her in the head. while Donatelo, terrified, sees the blood coming out of Evelyn's head, Idan couldn't speak or move because of what happened, and when Edwin saw what Jerome did, he punched his brother several times and said

Edwin: Are you going crazy?!?!

Jerome stopped Edwin's hand and said

Jerome: Why do you think what happened to our second sibling when they tried to save their first child and escape?

Edwin: They were killed by his family, sadly, he said.

Jerome: You knew all along that the accident would also happen to your family if you didn't participate in the ritual, so that the woman should die rather than for your whole family to die.

Edwin had no choice, so he held Idan's hand, and before Idan could say anything, Jerome immediately covered Idan's mouth, and he lost consciousness. And when Idan woke up, he immediately realized that he was on a ship, tied up. When they arrived at an island they called Bernadette, they pushed Evelyn's corpse and Idan into the boat, and a tribe arrived and saw another body, and Bernadette told the tribe in an unknown language that meant

Bernadette: We will perform the ritual of capturing the child for a week. If he survives, he will become one of the Bandinos.

But when Idan was released, he immediately ran and grabbed a machete, chopped off his father's head, and chopped his grandmother's foot.

Idan: I don't have a dad anymore. Well, you should die anyway.

Bernadette: SHAMELESS CHILD!! FORGET EVERYTHING AND KILL HIM!!

All the tribes chased him while his relatives were treating Bernadette's foot. After a few minutes, Idan managed to distance himself from the tribes chasing him and hid. When Idan got far enough from the tribe, he immediately looked for a hiding place. When he found a cave, he decided to hide there, but he thought there might be someone living there, so he quickly made a weapon. However, he forgot that he had dropped the machete he was holding, so he used all his strength to make a weapon and ended up making seven spears before entering the cave. When he entered the cave, he saw five tribes living there, and they also saw him. And when the tribes approached him, he quickly stabbed one of them with two spears, one in the stomach and one in the neck. The four tribes saw this, so they drew their weapons and fought.

Idan: I don't care if there are more of you, I WILL FIGHT YOU!!!

There was blood flowing from Idan's body, but more blood splattered on the tribes. And when only the two of them were left, all of Idan's spears had already broken. When one tribe member reached for a knife, he quickly stepped on their hand, and Idan swiftly retrieved the broken spear from the foot of one trio and stabbed it into the eye of one tribe member, burying it until it penetrated their eye and they died. Idan sat down and said

Idan: It's a good thing I was taught to kill an animal with a stick by Donatelo. Good thing it didn't show that there was a curve at the back.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Donatelo is worried about Idan and anxious that what happened to Idan will happen to him too, so he finds a way to escape from that island.
