Chapter 43
AJ I wake up and my mama isn’t in bed with me. That’s weird normally on my birthday she stays by my side pretty much all day unless she has to go potty. That’s probably where she’s at. I lie on the bed and keep my eyes closed so I can surprise her whenever she comes in. I love surprising her and making her jump it's so funny. It seems like it’s taking her forever and I groan as I change my position on the bed. I hear some noise going on outside of the room so I close my eyes and pretend to be asleep because I think she's about to come in here. I hear a really loud thud that doesn't sound like someone walking and I sit up and frown. That doesn't seem normal... I huff as I get off the bed and walk towards the door. I don’t want mama to get upset with me, but it sounds really weird
