The more time that passes the more antsy both Ryan and I become. We should’ve heard something from someone by now. We are almost at the location and we both know that we have to remain on high alert.
I look back towards AJ and I hope that the two of us will be enough to keep him safe, because I have no clue what has happened to everyone else.
Blaze seems to sense my discomfort and snuggles closer into AJ and looks at me as if he’s trying to reassure me that he’ll keep him safe.
