Chapter 50
Ryan Both Parker and I are awake at the c***k of dawn. I know that we are both just eager to get this whole thing over with because once Hunter and the rest of the Aberrations are gone, we can finally really enjoy our life together. I want to marry her. I would love to adopt AJ and raise him as my own. We just have to get through this hurdle first. Parker rolls over and faces me and gives me a small smile and I return it. I put my hand on her arm and rub her soothingly trying to silently reassure her that everything will be okay. I watch as she turns to look at AJ who is snuggling Blaze just like he does every night. She smiles at the sight of him, and I can tell from her energy that she is eager to leave, but she is refraining because she wants to let him sleep. She turns back
