Lorraine's eyes fluttered open and the brightness of the room made her wince. Giving a quick look around told her that she was by herself and all tucked into the bed of her new room.
She used her hand to lift the covers off her weary body and felt the coldness of the air cool her body. She gasped, realising she was still in a state of undress. Her hands quickly threw the covers back over her body and she sat up, still holding a sheet over her torso.
Sharp pain struck her right between her legs as she sat up. That was the one trigger she needed for all the events of the previous night to hit her.
