It was always quiet in Lorraine's room when she was alone and it gave her much room to dwell on her thoughts. Her mind was telling her that it would be impossible for her to make it past that door, let alone leave the house as a whole, but she had hope in her heart, she was driven by the thought of what her future would be if she managed to escape and make it back home and how disastrous she would end up if she chose to wait on the purported two years that she would have to spend, and give the devil an heir.
