I felt my anger boiling to my core hearing the king go on listening word for word “A couple weeks ago Wex has been assigned to guard a cabin out side of Reynolds district, he said when he went down to give lunch to one of his prisoner he came across a pregnant women chained to the wall in a private cell, in his words her condition looked very poor” my angry grew as I started to feel my Lycan coming threw. Nathan knew I wasn’t taking the news well as he immediately put his hand on my shoulder trying is best to hold me down in my chair, as he also could sense my Lycan coming. I continued to have a hard time controlling myself as I yelled out “GIVE ME THE COORDINATES NOW!” Feeling my chest getting tighter “Conner my warrior Wex is on his way to your boarders now, when he gets there he will help you get your Luna back.” I stormed out the room to the kings last words as I shifted into Ash and headed out side to wait, if I stayed in my office any longer I would of transformed into my Lycan and lost control. Nathan followed behind of course also switching into his wolf Stone, he was a pure light gray wolf with green eyes. My warriors started to group up and get ready as Nathan ordered them too, he gave them a heads up on what will be happening as everyone stretched and trained while waiting around. Wex showed up two hours later as he howled in his arrival then taking a bow infront of me, I howled out as pain tinted over it and started to run along side Wex while my warriors followed behind. I had a pack of fifty only knowing noting can stop me or my warriors I didn’t need anymore than that for a nasty human tribreed like Reynolds. We ran together threw dense forest floors for twelve hours until we got to a small land that a cabin sat in the middle of, I could feel her, I could smell her the closer we got, but no matter how hard I tried to connect to her I got noting in return. We surrounded the cabin as we sat outside waiting to attack, Wex and Nathan stood by my side as we scanned the area “Alpha Conner there should be ten guards surrounded each corner outside, four will stand front of the entrance and two more behind the door. There will be guards at every door you pass, the floor you enter on is the top floor there are four more floors below heavily guarded, Alicia is on the fourth floor and the whole place has cameras.” I nodded my head to focused on wanting to just take everyone out already. We had to wait till Reynolds was off the grounds before attacking, the King didn’t want us to engage with him yet and blow Wexs cover. “Reynolds will be coming soon to check on his prisoners, he will be making it a fast check up sights he has an auction to go to down in southern territory.” We sat around a little longer until a black Mercedes pulled up a five’ten built looking guy that had black combed back hair dressed in a expensive looking tux coming out, another guy hoped out the passenger side as he followed the other guy inside. “That is Reynolds” Wex said in disgusted. I let a low and long growl escape my lips I wanted to take him down. Wex changed back to human form when his phone started to ring from Leon calling, he placed it on speaker for us to hear “Leon” “Reynolds wants you to come to the cabin to change the prisoners IV bag, take it to Reynolds now he needs to take care of one of them before we leave.” The phone hangs up after that. “Let me do what I have to do for Reynolds, and check up on her one more time. Now that I’ll have entrance to go inside I’ll see who is on schedule.” I nodded my head again as I watched Wex take off. Nathan linked me as we sat waiting as he tried to comfort my anxiety “we will have her back by the end of today and soon we will all have our revenge bring down Reynolds.” I payed little to no attention even if I know I should have, but all I wanted to do was kill Reynolds now. It’s been another hour that passed by until Wex came back with a median size cooler heading into the cabin, the guards let him in the moment he walked up. It was another forty five minutes til Reynolds came out whipping blood of his knuckles in a rag covered in blood getting back into his car, Wex didn’t look so happy as he followed out with Reynolds shutting the door behind him. Reynolds drove away as Wex made like he did the same and met us back in the woods, “Give Reynolds time to leave and give distance before we make our move and get your Mate back”. I felt restless as we waited again another hour before Wex thought it was a good idea to go in. He nodded his head to me as I howled out while my pack followed along, the echo of our howls bounced off the tress from every direction bring fear to the guards eyes before we even attacked. We came out from all different directions as we charged in taking out every guard we ran into, I charged straight for the door taking down the guards instantly they tried to throw a claw back along with a bite but they were to slow for my fighting technique as I slashed each one till blood poured out as they dropped to the ground. Everyone scattered through the cabin taking out everyone that stood guard, I made my way straight to the forth floor as Wex and Nathan followed close behind me, Wex stopped me from touching one of the doors as he had to shut off the electrical system for it sights it could electrocute you on touch. As I opened the door and ran down the stairs I felt weak to my stomach as I saw my mate hanging from chains while her body was covered in fresh and old cuts and burns. The scar on her right eye was so deep there was no way to tell if her right eye was still okay, Wex put gloves on as he opened up the sliver gate, I dropped to my knees in front of her as I held her face in my hands “please baby please wake up, I’m here please!” Continuing to rub her beautiful face down, I placed one of my hands on her belly rubbing it hopping everything is fine with the baby. I was about to rip the chains off the wall until Wex stopped me “Alpha it’s pure Silver it will burn you if you touch it let me I have gloves” I looked at her wrist and ankles as he took off the chains as it practically burned on her skin, in anger I ripped the two chains that was left on the wall as it burned threw my hands. I didn’t waste anymore time as I scooped Alicia in my arms and ran up the stairs straight out the cabin, everyone followed me out the cabin the moment I left surrounding me in their wolf form as I ran holding Alicia. We ran couple miles out until we reached a clear patch of grass, we waited ten minutes before trucks pulled in to pick us up and take us back to the pack. I never let Alicia go not once til we got back and headed straight to the hospital, I tried the whole ride to wake her up but noting as I continued to get worried. The doctors took her in immediately as they already had a private room waiting for her, I followed behind closely as I tried holding onto her hand the whole time not wanting to let go. Nurse K stopped me from following them into the room “please Alpha let us do our work, you will be the first to know anything.” She turned around following the rest of them to the back room they turned into. I walked back and forth in the hall way feeling insane, getting impatient, I only want to be by her side! I slide down the wall as I placed my head on my knees overwhelmed in thoughts and emotions. Two hours later passed by and I remained in the same spot Doctor Mark finally came down the hallway patting my shoulder and telling me to follow him, I stood up fast as I trailed behind him, he took me to her room as I immediately ran up to the side of the bed when I saw her, I grabbed her hand placing small kisses on it as I placed my forehead on hers. “Alpha Conner I’m afraid she has slipped into a coma, it seems to me that Alicia took all the pain that was given to her while Echo took full control protecting the baby, if Echo helped Alicia just once the amount of Wolfsbane that Alicia was given would have reached the baby and killed him. Due to the fact Echo didn’t come out and helped with any healing or pain Alicia encountered it all, and for her body to endure all the pain it suffered along with the amount of Wolfsbane traveling through her system, her brain started to shut down to protect her body from experiencing anymore pain. I’m afraid in this state of coma she is in we can not predict if she will wake or not, right now she is currently hooked up to a lifeline machine sights she stopped breathing a couple times already. We had to surgically remove some of the silver chains she had attached to her cuz they were deep into her skin, if she does awake she will have along road of recovery to move her feet and hands good again. We are monitoring the baby and he is just fine, I don’t know how Echo did it but with the amount of Wolfsbane in Alicia’s system it should have reached the fetus but it didn’t. I’m sorry Alpha Conner but we will do everything to save our Luna!” I nodded my head as he explained everything to me about Alicia, I tried my hardest to not break down and cry in front of the doctor but small little tears rolled down my face as he talked. When doctor Marked left the room I felt like I couldn’t breath I felt my chest get so tight as my heart felt noting but pain, I sat down on the chair as I felt like I was about to pass out. My mate, Ive always wanted to know my mate and now that I did I only have this short time to be with her… NO! This can’t be! Slamming my self down on her bed crying my self to sleep with out realizing it. As I drifted off to sleep I found myself waking up on a tiny bed rock in the middle of a small river, I got off the rocks and swam to shore lifting myself up on the tiny rock ledge. I pulled myself up to finding my self in a rain forest so dens the sun couldn’t even break through it.
