Rias POV
Colton had his arms around me for a long moment, at a point we switched positions but ended up in each other’s arms once more. I stretched, hitting his face at some point, tossing him off the bed. I chuckled muttering “sorry” but got a growl from him.
Something seemed new about it all, and imperfect. He hit my head with his hands at some point and I sobbed only for him to pat me, rubbing my head. By the time we finally slept and everything was still, I heard him mutter some words while he slept.
“Mom...”
He trailed making my eyes flip open, I stared at him wondering if I heard correctly. “Please come back, mom,” he added. It seemed like he was having a nightmare.
“Colton?” I let out only for tears to slip from his eyes. “Please be well again, mom,” he added. I held his hands
