Kym helped Eliza out of Melanie’s work out clothes, and into the steaming hot bath.
“How did you get it so warm?” Eliza asked, as she sunk into the waters, allowing the heat to soothe her aching muscles. As emotional as she had gotten during her training, she felt a lot lighter, now that she was back in her apartments. Like she had let go of some of the things that had hurt her so deeply she had not wanted to face that pain.
“That is my secret. Do you promise not to tell?” Kym giggled, feeling relaxed around Eliza.
“I promise,” Eliza grinned up at her.
“I melt the snow in the bath, as is traditional, but I also melt some in the kettle we use for hot drinks, and add three kettles full of boiling water, to help the water warm to a temperature that is not just a notch above freezing,”
