Fitz stood in the ceremonial kings dressing chamber, as Kari placed the last of his four snow bear pelts around his shoulders, which hung to the middle of his back, clasping them all together with the golden circle with a crown in the centre. She then placed the plain golden crown on his head, his long white hair left hanging, minus any braids. His beard had grown over the past two months, partially due to the heat of Neutraliss, but mostly because his testosterone levels had increased tenfold since mating and marking his beloved angel.
