“Eliza Whitestone is here. She has a moonstone artefact around her neck, gifted to her by Elder Maisy Starlight,” Carson began, watching the kings face intently. This news seemed of little surprise to the king.
“I have placed her in the guest rooms on the second floor,” Carson added, as the king nodded his head.
“However, I come with grave news. Elder Maisy Starlight was murdered by Alpha Greyson, upon the request of his luna, Rein Whitestone. Initial enquires say that the luna went mad, when she realised that Maisy had gifted Eliza with the artifact, and her mate could not kill her. They had planned to ignore the king’s justice and remove Eliza before we arrived. If not for that moonstone, the prisoner would be already dead,”
