Alpha Fanning chuckled alongside a highly concerned Elder Carson as they looked into the arena.
“She hasn’t even noticed it is behind her,” Fanning said, not even bothering to mask the glee in his tone.
“You discount Delta Whitestone’s daughter at your peril, Alpha,” Carson hissed behind gritted teeth. Although if he was honest, he was more than a little concerned about the stalking Snow Bear and the queen who seemed totally oblivious to the stalking beast. However, he made a conscious choice to believe in his queen. The Elder glanced over at Delta Aiden, the man looking totally at ease and gained comfort from his relaxed posture. Unlike the king, his tense muscles obvious from a million miles away.
