I was so proud of Madison for telling the detective and Blaze about what happened to her. It was now out in the open, and I knew Blaze would help her however he could.
When Eric arrived with the baseball team, Detective Felicia had just left. Something that gave me a little bit of relief. I didn’t want to have to explain why the cop was here.
“If you guys go through the kitchen and out the back door, the pool is that way. The pool house is unlocked, and if you need trunks, there are extras in a dresser. All I ask is that you don’t destroy the place, and clean up after yourselves,” I said as I pointed them in the right direction.
