Aerith's POV:
We walked back into the house after seeing her off. I exhaled and walked to the center of the room. He walked behind me and wrapped his hands around my waist and kissed me on the neck. I giggled when he did that.
I turned around in his arms and flung my hands over him.
"I'll be going up to the room to freshen up and sleep. It's already late." I told him.
"I should get some work done in my office before I come in for the night. I won't be long." He managed a feeble smile for me.
I nodded as he let me go.
I turned to leave the room. I trailed my hands on the banisters while ascending the curved spiral stairs slowly. I turned towards our room and wrapped my hands around my body.
The hallway was illuminated with the elegant ring candelabra above. I walked to the door and
