ADRIKO I chuckled as Serafina stormed out of the living room. The faint scent of jasmine and warmth lingered. Soft, warm, and addicting. I flexed my shoulders as the dull ache in my chest reminded me of the night’s events. The bullet wound burned but pain was an old companion, it barely registered anymore.
