Chapter 62
Three days later in Zia's chamber
Stepping into her room from the bathroom, she almost freezes on the spot at the sight that welcomes her, and she pulls a puzzled look at the wrapped gift laying on the bed. Surprised and confused about where it must've come from, she strides over to the bed and picks it up.
Reading through the paper attached to it, she rolls her eyes and shoves it on the bed before going to get dressed. She feels like there's no need to check whatever is wrapped in there since it's from Nikolai. For the past three days, she has done her best to avoid him all she can.
It takes her another hour to finally get dressed and strides out of her room elegantly. Stepping out of the room, she meets Amelie at her doorstep.
"Greetings, my lady. Where are we going?"
