Chapter 25
Pulling the door open, she freezes on the spot at the sight that welcomes her. Standing in front of her, is her long-time friend and crush, Vitya. She bats her eyelashes to be sure that this is not a dream, but when she opens her eyes, he's still standing there, looking as shocked as she is.
"Vitya..." She finally manages to call as many thoughts parades her mind. What is he doing here? Did he find her in this place? That can't be possible, right?
"Zia?" He finally speaks up for the first time as his mouth finally drops in shock. He tries to figure out what she must be doing in the castle, and in Nicolai's chambers. The truth is staring right back at him, but he doesn't want to believe it. He needs to ask questions and be sure of what's going on.
"What are you doing here?
