Sitting elegantly on the chair while having all her attention on the book she's reading, Amelie is standing just beside the shelf and waiting for her.
"Have you been able to speak with lord Erik?" She suddenly asks out of the blue as she raises her gaze from the book she's reading.
"Yes, my lady. He should be here any moment from now," Amelie replies to her, and she nods her head before she turns her attention to the book she's reading.
Getting engrossed in the book, she suddenly stops and sighs briefly as the thought of alpha Nikolai crosses her mind. It has been five days since he traveled, and she hasn't heard from him since then. She can't help but miss him so much and look forward to having him in her arms again.
