“You need to be strong, Cass.” I tried to assure her but I bet she wasn't even listening.
I looked around the hall, trying to find a clue but there was nothing. I had instantly regretted bringing Maya along. I knew Nicho was going to attack but I wasn't sure when.
“ We need to find her,” Clarissa pleaded as she wiped her tears, her beautiful makeup was nicely ruined.
“ We will find her, for now I need to take you home. That's the only safe place I can think of .” I said as I placed my hands on her shoulders to assure her that everything was under control.
