At noon, Roland arrived at their family home with Russell and Lauren. As they approached the entrance door Roland halted and turned to Russell. “You should both go in and get some rest,” he said. Lauren turned around to him, eyes glistening. “Aren't you coming with us?” “No, I'm not," he answered softly and exalted. “I have to stop by somewhere, but I'll be back before dinner.” Russell lingered. “Does it have to do with our discussion earlier in the clinic? You can rest a while before heading out.” “No it's not that,” Roland answered. “That's also part of the reason I'm going out, but before then I have to stop by somewhere.” Russell stared for a while and then exhaled. “Alright, we'd be expecting you, and if there’s anything, you can call to update us.” “Sure,” Roland answere
