Getting ready for School

~ Monday ~

~ Marlyn POV ~

I am a morning person, so most of the time I wake up around 6:00 in the morning and spent some time on my school lessons. I have always believed that it is good to be prepared for the topic you will study in school today. So due to my habit, I woke up around 6: 10 in the morning and realized that it is going to be my first day at school, so I still do not have my curriculum for the new class that means I have nothing to do right now. I decided to spend some more time in bed as I changed my alarm to 7:30 am while sliding into the bed because the school starts at 9:00 am. 

~Sean POV ~

It's been 2 days since I haven't seen that girl next door. There was something about this girl which was pulling me towards her. I still can't get forget the way, those big rapture-blue eyes were staring at me. Her ebony-black long hair was covering her beautiful neck and that look on her face was to die for. I'm not someone who easily feels a pull towards someone but it was different. Like some part of me wanted to know her more, wanted to know where was she till now and how can I be a part of her life.

I have spent 2 whole days lingering on my balcony to see if I can get just see her 1 more time but no success. It's Monday now and time for me to go to school. 

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Sean Jenner and I'm 17th, a high school student and the Captain of the school's soccer team. I don't like to brag about but I have a huge fan following, Ops I mean girl fans following however, some people say that I'm just a piece of bad news and they try to keep their distance. And hey did I forget to mention that my dad kinds of owns Kentwood Academy, as he is one of the richest guys in the whole town. 

~ Marlyn POV ~

I woke up as soon as the alarm started to shout. I get out of the bed and straight went to my wardrobe to select clothes. There is always a perk of being rich that you need not do your tasks by yourself and someone is always there to help. Over the weekend the servants at Granny's place has put all my things in their place, my wardrobe was arranged and everything was practically in my reach. I looked up to the wardrobe to find a suitable dress to wear as it was my first day at school so it has to be special but comfortable at the same time. In my previous school, everyone knew that Marlyn Stark was never settled for less, and she is the studious one so now when I have got the opportunity then I'll make some amendments.

I have selected a blue pair of jeans with a V-neck white crop top with a matching denim jacket to accompany. I have tucked my long beautiful hair in a high ponytail and my favorite sneakers to go with it. I just have a last glare at the mirror to check and I look perfect. Yes, I can do this.

At the breakfast table, Granny was waiting for me. After greeting her, I sat next to her and had my PB&J sandwich along with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. I was about to finish my breakfast when my granny informed me that all of my books have already been kept in my school locker, she handed me a pair of keys for my locker and she said she will meet me in school as right now she has some urgent work to take care, so her driver will drop me to the school campus. I nodded my head said goodbye and left for school.

Her driver dropped me at the campus gate and greeted me, All the best, Ms. Marlyn, and left. I started to walk slowly, enjoying the heat of the sun touching my face so softly. Filled with excitement, filled with anticipation, filled with curiosity, and yes not to mention nervous, too. This was, after all, the first day of school.

It was a huge campus, It looked very well-maintained and full green lawn with beautiful shrubs and bloomed flowers all around. I can see that there were students all around me, they all were giggling, talking, running. The building itself was very huge and I felt that I might get lost here. I check my watch and it was 8:25 am, which means I was still ahead of schedule so that gives me some time to gather my curriculum from the front desk and books from the locker. I was transferred mid-term so there was no school touring going on and I thought that I have to figure out everything on my own.

I rushed towards to front desk and asked for the curriculum, the lady sitting there was in her late 20's but early 30's. She smiled at me and said "Marlyn Stark right". I nodded. She stood up and asked me to follow her, she mentioned that Principle Jenna would like to see me first. I was very nervous as it was the first time that I'm going to meet a new principal without my parents. 

The principal was a beautiful lady in her early 50's, she was decently dressed and had a polite smile on her face. I greeted her and took the chair she offered me. While looking at me she slowly said something to the lady from the front desk and she left after nodding her head. Principal Jenna started to talk about the school, campus, and how happy she is to have a studious student like me in her high school. I was listening to her very carefully when I heard a knock on the door, It was another student who was asking permission to come inside. Principle Jenna nodded her head to allow that guy to step into the room and introduce him as "Taylor". She said that he will show me the campus around and will also help me with the curriculum. I said thank you to Principle Jenna and started walking out with Taylor. 

Taylor has an attractive personality, a good sense of clothing, and is polished in behavior. He greeted me well and asked for my curriculum, I handed over the page I was given by the front desk lady. He checked the schedule and mentioned that "Hey we have 5 classes together and right now we are getting late for our first period, will that be ok if I'll show you around during lunch break.". I nodded and we practically ran towards our first class together, Maths.
