I heard him barking and found out that Milo was struggling to get free from those creepers. I wanted to help him but then saw Marlyn, coming in the same direction. I quickly hide behind the big oak tree and watched her helping Milo.

She was so gentle with him while untangling those creepers, Milo also liked her. Milo doesn't make friends easily but seems like he was also under the spell of Marlyn's charm. I saw them for a while from the distance, she was looking perfect in her activewear. Her body is perfectly toned and her curves are all highlighted. Anyone can easily fall for her smile. I was lost in my thoughts when saw that she has started looking for Milo's owner and that's when I started walking in their direction acting like I was so worried while looking for Milo.

Oh, this stupid bet, I wanted to tell her that I saw you that other day on your balcony and you were looking so beautiful. Since that day, I was waiting on my balcony to start a conversation with you, but I have to hold myself to play nice. I can't let her know how I actually not until I win this stupid bet.

"Thank you so much for helping him. it was a very nice gesture." I thanked her for her kindness.

"It's completely alright, I saw him in pain and tangled in those creepers, so just helped him. He is so adorable", she replied.

" Seems like you are new here, I have never seen you around. My name is Sean ". I introduced myself.

"Hi my name is Marlyn and yes, I have recently transferred from New York, and I don't go out much, so don't know many people around," she said with a beautiful smile on her face.

I don't want to let this opportunity go away, so I asked her, "Would you like to grab a quick breakfast, there is this awesome cafe serving delicious hot pancakes down the hill. Trust me they are the best in town. "

"Umh... No, It's completely fine, I'll just go complete and my remaining lap and then go back to get ready for the school ", she replied hesitantly.

But I insisted as this was my cue to take her out, breakfast will be a good way to go one step closer to her, so I said, "Come on Marlyn, it's very near, and please give me a chance to say thank you for what you have done for Milo, he is my best buddy, the breakfast is on me."

And she finally got agreed to have breakfast with us. We went to the restaurant and sat on the corner seat. Once she confirmed that she would like to have blueberry-filled pancakes, I rushed towards the counter to place an order. While placing the order I saw outside and she was playing with Milo and seems like was also enjoying the surroundings.

We finished our breakfast and I was about to ask her about going to school together, she started running by saying that she is getting late. Well, that's not what I was expecting but never mind will get more chances to get closer to her.

Milo and I went back home together and I started getting ready for school. I had soccer practice in the first 3 periods today. The semi-finals are next week and we have to c***k them to make our way into finals.

On my way to school, I saw Marlyn standing helpless at the side of the road. Her driver was trying to fix the car. I felt so happy, I could not have asked for more. This was my chance again to steal one more step to get closer. As soon as this stupid bet will be over I'll confess my feelings for her.

After a little push, she agreed to sit on my bike, why this feels awesome. In the past, so many girls have taken that seat but this time why does it feels so right. And the best part was it was her first bike ride and I was the lucky one to take on her first bike ride. I'm so happy.

We reached school on time, till now Marlyn doesn't know that we are in the same school and before I could even tell she started running again towards her classroom. Oh my God, why she is always in a hurry. While she was running I saw Steven looking at her, I felt an emerging tension in my body. I wanted to tell him off, but then I remembered the bet, it was a game on for both of us. I really need to make a quick move before Steven does.

After parking my bike I went straight to the gym for practice and I saw Kiara and her little minions stretching themselves for their cheerleading session. In order to avoid her, I started walking towards the boy's changing room but was caught in the middle by Kiara.

"Hey Babe, where have you been the whole weekend, I tried calling you multiple times, but no response. Even after Steven's party that day you vanished just like thin air." She asked while putting her hands on my shoulder and coming close to me.

I guess we have some catching to do, so Kiara is my Ex-girlfriend. We have dated for almost 3 long years but 3 months back we got separated as she cheated on me with one of those Tinder guys. However, since then she has tried everything to make this relationship work. But I don't want to trust this girl anymore, however, to keep up with the image I have in school, I cannot cut off Kiara completely out of my life. I mean like come on you really can't blame me for this desire, she is the captain of the cheerleading team and current Ms. Kentwood, the most popular girl in the school.

I pushed her a little and said, " Well, I was out on an excursion with my group and unknowingly left my phone at home. anything important you wanted to talk about, as you called me so many times."

"I just wanted to check if you would like to go for a movie this weekend", she asked while pushing herself on to me. Her fingers were playing with my hair and I can feel her breath on my cheeks.

"I'll let you know that by Friday", I said while pushing her again and quickly started walking towards the boy's changing room. I could sense her sharp gaze on me, I straight went to the changing room. I was planning about how to avoid her once I'll go outside again and I heard the announcement of principal Jenna calling everyone to the auditorium. Thank you so much, Principal Jenna, for saving me today.

It was a big announcement that this year Kentwood Academy would be hosting the Artfest. That means all other colleges will be coming here, scouts will be joining and we will have the perfect opportunity to get some extra points/marks by participating or volunteering in so many events. I guess I'll be able to c***k them for good. I'm excited.
