Surprise visit by a Friend

~ Taylor ~

Since yesterday I'm not well. I wanted to go to school so badly as it's already been two days since I haven't seen her. I miss her scent, I miss being close to her, I miss her gorgeous smile. Oh God, I'm talking like an addict. What this girl is doing to me. I was all ready to leave for school when my parents took the car keys and asked me to take a rest today. I don't want to but I can't disobey them, so I stayed back and was thinking about her all day.

I was looking at a picture of her, which I took while she was dancing with Tamara. She is looking so beautiful in that, I have not shared that one picture within our w******p group as well when I was sharing other photos of that day. I can't even take a risk to tell Tamara about it, else she will start blackmailing me. This one picture belongs to me like Marlyn only belongs to me.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even realize that my mother was knocking on the door, after knocking on the door for good 5 minutes, she came inside.

"Youngman, on which earth are you right now, I'm calling your name for the last 5 minutes now. "

"Oh....Uhmm.. Hey...Hi, Mom...." I just replied while hiding Marlyn's picture.

"Tamara is here to see you, should I sent her upstairs or ask her to come back some other time."

Since when Tamara has learned manners, she has never asked or was stopped by anyone to step into my room. But then I thought as I'm not well, so might be she wanted to check if I'm awake or not before barging onto my room.

" Please ask her to come, Mom, she must be here to share the classwork and to check on my well-being."

"Okies, I'll send her now, also I send some snacks as well for you guys." She replied and went downstairs.

I almost jumped in excitement when Marlyn was the first person to enter the room. She was looking so worried but again beautiful at the same time. She came and sat down on the couch next to my bed. Then I saw Tamara, give me a mischievous smile with that naughty look on her face. Like she was trying to tell me that see she is here. I thanked her by nodding my head.

Tamara and Me were exchanging those looks when Marlyn got up from the couch and she came near to me. She placed her cold hand on my warm forehead for a minute. Then looked straight into my eyes, I could see the worry in her eyes. Oh my Lord, was she worried for me, she came here just for me, was she missing me today?

I grabbed her hand and pulled her a little close to me, making her sit next to me on the bed. Her big blue eyes were all on me, I could feel the heat running through my body. I inhaled her beautiful scent and felt so relaxed.

Before I could say something, she started to talk, " What have to do to yourself, Taylor. I was so damn worried when Tamara told me about your health. Why didn't you messaged me or called to inform me?"

She stopped for a minute, then started talking again, " Your fever is still really high, you need to take a lot of rest and drinking a lot of water. Have you seen a doctor yet as this might be a little serious, please do not take fever lightly? "

She was worried for me, she was giving me instructions. She was asking questions, and all I can see was her care and love. I knew there was something between us, I sure Marlyn can also feel the connection between us. I was lost in my thoughts when Marlyn snapped her fingers in front of my face, "What are you thinking now, here please take this medicine and take rest you will be fine in no time and if the temperature goes up please see a doctor if you haven't already.

"Ok, I'll take the medicine and will take care of myself as well," I said while nodding my head like a good boy. I could see how Tamara was staring at me, I'm sure is just being calm and composed enough until Marlyn leaves.

"I guess, I should leave now, it getting dark outside", I heard Marlyn saying that. Oh God, why so early she just came in, why can't she stay a little longer. I would do anything to have some more time with her to spend. But I had to agree with what it was saying I cannot be a reason to bring any trouble on her. " Thanks for coming today, Marlyn, It means a lot to me. How would you go, is your driver waiting outside", I asked in sadden voice.

"No, I'm going to drop her," Tamara replied. "Will come back, after dropping her, I have a lot to discuss".

"Sure, please drive safely, and take care of her, Bye Marlyn.", I said.

" Please take care of yourself and call me if you need anything, I'll come tomorrow again to meet you, and don't worry we both are making notes, so you will not lose on the assignments. Now I'll take a leave, goodbye." She said before leaving with Tamara.

I slide inside my bed and got lost in my sweet memories with Marlyn.

~ Marlyn ~

We went to Taylor's home. At first, her mother was staring at me and then suddenly she came near to me, hugged me and kissed my forehead. It was my first time meeting with her, but the warmth of the hug felt like I have known her for ages.

She said, " Welcome to our home, Marlyn. now I understand why Taylor talks about you a lot nowadays, you are such a charmer. Your eyes are very beautiful. Let me check if Taylor is awake, I sure he will be very happy to know that you have come to see him".

"No, aunty", Tamara shouted. "It is a surprise for him, please don't tell him, just say I'm here to see him about the classwork."

"Ok sweety, as you say", and she went upstairs to check on Taylor. She is such a wonderful lady and their house is also very beautiful. I took the chair near to the kitchen table and started looking out from the window.
