CHAPTER 3

THE FROST BAND

THE DAY for Orientation came, I was at Quote Entertainment 30 minutes before 8:00 AM. I was at the lobby waiting for Ms. Kim to call me. I can’t help myself kept on glancing at my watch. My heart is beating so fast and my hands are cold. I’m so nervous.

I sighed.

“Ms. Cross?”

“Good Morning Ms. Kim.”

“Good morning to Ms. Cross, Shall we go and meet the President.”

“Yes, please.” And we Headed to the President’s office.

AFTER meeting the President along with the Head Management Team of the Frost band, I and Mr. Alexander, the Head Manager for Frost headed to meet the rest of Frost band’s Management team. And yes, I was Shock and also Excited that I was Asssigned to be the Assistant Stylist for the Frost band.

“Team, I want you to meet Ms. Adriella Cross, our new Assistant Stylist.” It was Mr. Alexander.

“Oh Hello, I’m Margarette Sy, The head Stylist, Nice to meet you Adriella. I’m excited to work with you. Welcome to the team by the way.”

“It’s my Pleasure to be part of the team, and I too, excited to work with you and the rest of the team Ms. Sy. Thank you for Welcoming me.”

“Sure thing, and please drop the formality. Just call me Ate Marga, I believe that I’m older to you I guess?”

“Yes. Ms. Sy—, sorry A-ate Marga.” She chuckled.

“Okay lang yan, masasanay ka rin.” Sabi niya at bumalik na siya sa gawain niya.

The Rest of the team, Gave me a warm Welcome. They’re so nice and approachable. Then I heard that The Frost band is already Arrived at their lounge. Mr. Alexander told me to go with him to meet The Frost band.

“Gentlemen” Mr. Alexander Said, to call their Attention.

“Kuya, Alex” someone said.

“Please, I want you to meet your newest Assistant Stylist, Ms. Cross. She’ll be with you most of the time so be nice to here, understand?”

“H-hello, I’m Adriella Cresent Cross. Nice to meet you all.” Nahihiyang sabi ko.

“I know, you already knew us” I quickly nodded. Then the Man with cute dimples smiled. “but for Formality’s sake, We’ll Introduce ourselves. I’m Link Klaus Madden, the drummer. Pleasure to meet you Adriella.”

“Hello Beautiful, I’m Zelo Blaze Cohen your Handsome and hot Bassist.” He said and wink at me. From what I heard he’s a bit troublemaker because he is known for being the player of ther group. Kabi-kabila ang mga rumors about sa kanya. I sighed. Huwag kang papa-apekto sa mabulak-lak niyang bibig, Adriella.

“Stop what you’re doing, Zelo! Baka ma-ilang yan sa atin.” Saway ni Link kay Zelo.

“Sorry About that. Wag mo na lang masyadong pansinin ang pinagsasabu ni Zelo. Sana hindi ka ma-ilang.”

I noded at him and smiled.

“Ruin Clyde Silvers, bassist.” Bored na pakilala nito habang nakaupo sa sofa at nagbabasa ng libro. I almost roll my eyes to him. Hindi naman lang inalis ang mata siya sa pagbabasa ng libro niya at tumingin sa akin. I find it rude though pero sige ako na lang mag-aadjust.

Then I the man who hold his phone turn his gaze on me. His Amber eyes, were no emotions and full of mystery. His gaze were so cold.

“Kyren Void Kreuitz.” He said. Even he’s voice is cold. He’s second name speaks for him as a whole. Void from emotions, making him as a cold person yet so mysterious. I immediately turn many eyes in other directions. I feel like he’s eyes are pierce Through my soul. I almost feel my legs go jell-o.

“Brrr… Cold as ever Void.” Singit naman ni Zelo. I’m Thankful for him at sumingit siya dahil hindi ko makayanan ang mga titig ni Kyren sa akin. “Wag mong pansinin niya, ganyan talaga yan. Parehas sila ni Clyde na tahimik. Pag nagsama silang dalawa naku mapapanis laway mo sa dalawang yan. Parehas na tahimik. Anyways, Siya pala ang Vocalist at ang tumatayong Leader ng Banda. Welcome sa team. Excited na kaming makatrabaho ka.

“Salamat, Zelo. Looking forward rin ako na maging stylist niyo. Sige balik na ako sa kabilang Room. May meeting pa ata kayo. Thank you ulit sa pag-welcome sa akin.” Tumago lang Sila Link at Zelo bilang sagot sa akin. Sina Kyren at Ruin naman hindi na nag-abalang tumingin sa akin. Umalis na ako sa Room nila at bumalik sa style Area.

MADALING natapos ang araw at ngayon ay nakauwi na ako sa apartment ko. Ngayon kay naka-upon ako sa kama habang ka-usapan sila Kaliyah at Kendall. Na-ikwento ko sa kanila ang lahat ng nangyari nung araw ng orientation ko sa Quote.

Nakahiga na ako ng ma-iisip ko yung mga nangyari. Ang babait ng mga tao sa Quote specially sa Team Frost. Na-isip ko rin sila Link at Zelo, hindi na ako magtataka kung sila ang unang magiging ka-close ko sa kanilang apat. Very friendly at approachable sina Link at Zelo though may magka-flirty si Zelo, manageable naman siya. Sina Kyren at Ruin ang inaalala ko, mukhang mahihirapan akong i-approach sila. Tahimik at Cold ang datingan pa naman nila. Hayyyyy. Bahala na nga. Iisip na lang ako ng ibang paraan para ma-iapproach ko sila ng ma-ayos. Kakayanin ko to. Laban lang Adriella Cresent!
