CASA DI RECLUSIONE The morning’s activity at the site was completed, and Rafaela’s questions were mostly answered. What remained was to interrogate Hamza Yavuz at the jail in Civitavecchia, the Casa di Reclusione. Rafaela drove her own car, saying she would have to return to Rome immediately afterward. Aggie drove himself and Tesa in an old Jeep; Alana and I followed along in our rental car. Rafaela led the caravan down E80 and onto SS1 toward the city, which became the Via Tarquinia. She hadn’t been to that particular jail before, but the trip from the archeological dig to the center of Civitavecchia was easy to follow on her car’s navigator.
