"No!!" I exclaim, crossing my arms over my chest while glaring at him.
"Come on, it will be fun. I'll make sure of it." Hunter says.
"Why should I trust you and why do you wanna help?" I ask while raising a brow at him and he chuckles.
"I also want to have the best summer before I head off to college, And since we are heading off to the same college, we are gonna be best buddies so you should learn to trust me." He explains.
"What have you been doing, the last summers?" I ask curiously, why he would want the best summer when he has rich parents and he can go wherever he wants, also because he is a boy and he ain't the only child.
He shrugs, "My summers are all the same, go to parties, bang-"
"Don't complete that." I say as I scrunch my nose up in disgust. I don't need to know all about his business. He chuckles next to me as he runs a hand through his hair in a sexy kind of way though.
"As I was saying, let me just help you complete it." I sigh turning to him. I mean I do need help finishing all these things on my list, well especially the list he has.
From the beginning, Hinter came bursting into my room like a thief in the night. I was writing my bucket list and him being the pry he is, he snatched it away from me, well half of the list minus some of the embarrassing things on it.
"Okay fine, what do you want?" I ask knowing there is something in turn he wants me to do. That's how life works these days.
"A date." He says with a cheeky grin and I stare at him questioningly. What does he mean by that?
"My prom is tomorrow and I need a date." He says as he leans back resting his head on my pillow.
"No way." I say shaking my head. His eyes shoot up to meet mine, with curiosity.
"Why's that? It is a deal, you know." He says. I pause to think about it for a moment.
Hunter wants me to go on a date with him to his prom. He is also supposed to help me complete my bucket list. Just one night at his prom won't be bad, right?
"Don't mess it up." I say and his lips curl into a smirk. I roll my eyes at him and continue to work on my list.
"You really need help on that. Bring here." Ryder says while snatching the complete list away from me.
Oh no!
"No." I whine hopelessly, trying to remove the list from his hands but he raises it up higher. Damn being short.
He bursts out laughing, probably something stupid on my list. I groan covering my face in embarrassment. Someone kill me right now.
"You've never had your first kiss." It wasn't a question. I turn to look at him with a flushed face, sending him a deep scowl. This is not something to make fun of. So what if I have never had my first kiss? What if I'm saving it for a special someone who I'll possibly meet in the next four months?
He continues to read through my list with a huge grin then he furrows his eye brows, "What does v-card mean?"
Oh God.
I reach for the nearest pillow and scream. This is the most embarrassing situation I have ever been in.
Why is he here again? Why did I let him in and how the hell does he still have my bucket list?
"None of your business." I say with my face stuffed into the pillow, I hear him chuckle next to me.
"Look here kitty cat, we have to work on this bucket list. Some of these things are undoable." He says and I look up from my pillow, avoiding his gaze.
"First of all, my name is Amelia and secondly, it is my bucket list." I snap at him, as I try to gain my bucket list. He shakes his head as he raises it higher away from my reach.
I give up.
"Okay how about this, I add some interesting cool stuff to your boring list?" he asks and I shake my head 'no'
"If you want to help me with my bucket list, then that's it." I say emphasizing on the 'my'. "If you also want to help me have fun, then add that to our bucket list." I say and he grins.
"Okay fine, let's make our bucket list." He says grabbing a pen and a paper. I want to have the best summer and if it means getting ideas from this douche bag, then why not take a risk. Life IS about taking risks, right?
After two hours of complaining, arguing and fighting, we finally came up with our bucket list. 90% of the ideas where from Hunter, he kept saying my ideas were childish and YouTube kinda. But then we finally came to terms with the final bucket list.
The Kitty Kat and the hunter's bucket list
1. Attend prom together.
2. Get matching tattoos together.
3. Go on the craziest rollercoaster of all time
4. Spend an entire day watching Disney movies
5. Visit the aquarium
6. Play in the rain and jump in muddy puddles
7. Get at least one piercing
8. Prepare a meal together
9. Road trip
10. Make a deal you will regret
11. Travel in a helicopter
12. Go fishing
13. Learn how to ride roller blades
14. Climb a tree
15. Bowling
16. Adopt a pet for a day
17. Make a new friend of the opposite gender
18. Dance in the rain
19. Confess something terrifying
20. Sleep in a tent and go camping
And here I was thinking my ideas were lame. But oh well, let's see where this bucket list will lead us too.
After making the bucket list, Hunter dragged me to the mall to get an outfit for his prom. I don't understand why we had to go because I have enough clothes that are decent enough for prom. But it's the Dayton family we are talking about here!!
