I woke up to the sunlight kissing my face as I let the warmth spread through my body, letting my hands stretch and finally releasing a little yawn. I looked next to me only to see the bed empty but the sheets still a little warm. Meaning Alex might have left just a few minutes back. Exactly at that second, the door to the bedroom opened and Alex came with a breakfast tray in his hand.
"Good morning angel!" He beamed happily and kissed my forehead while taking his place next to me and placing the tray on the side table.
