Cadence watched, huddled up in the corner of the bar as Sheriff Clearwater spoke with Lorelei. By now, Chau had headed home. Mrs. Phan had come to pick her up after seeing all the police cars outside on her way back from a project she had been attending to this afternoon in Blue Ridge and, remembering that Chau had come to see the Crypt Bangers, had hurried in to get her daughter. It was Cadence’s first time seeing her and she had to admit Mrs. Phan was a stunning beauty. Krasues were a sub-category of Vampires.
