Chapter Seven
All is Lost
The dive lights of Mini Me shone over the Lost City, lighting up its coral façade. Ghost crabs clung to the sides and shoals of fish darted out of sight as a giant squid squished past. Richard was in awe; Peter speechless. Crabby whistled, letting out a long beep.
“There,” Andee pointed, his face illuminated by a red glow of the sub’s lighting. “That pool of light above, we need to go up!”
“Roger that, Andee.” Richard pulled on the joystick, ascending the sub up towards slithers of light.
“Amazing.” Peter smiled. “I can’t believe I’m doing this.”
“Me neither,” agreed Richard.
Andee nodded to Indee. “It’s going to be okay. The Wise White Dolphin will know exactly what to do.”
“I hope so.” Indee sat strapped in her seat feeling dizzy and helpless.
