Depth Charge
The super sub torpedoed through the deep. Richard was trying to get through to Andee, but having no luck. Penelope’s voice interrupted him through the commotion. “Attention, all personnel.” A siren rang throughout the ship.
“What is it, Penelope?”
“Sir, we’ve reached our destination. Strange alien life forms ahead. I fear it would be unwise to go any further.”
Richard stared out of a porthole. “I can’t see a thing out there. It’s like looking into a black hole. Penelope, dim the lights inside the sub and activate dive-lights to super beam.”
“Affirmative, Richard. Activating dive-lights to super beam now.”
