I knew the guy was thinking about moving out, so I leaned on him ‘til he made a decision on a schedule I liked. He called me after I left the apartment yesterday and told me he was moving out right then. The landlord knew I wanted it. Gave him a call, dropped off the deposit, and the first year’s rent. The place is yours to move into this week. Your name’s on the lease.”
