-Samantha's POV
Going to the movies with Tyler and Alexander was actually not bad. It was fun, although I would never admit that to Tyler. He was already so full of himself because he thought his threat had worked! Tyler comparing me to a robot in the car and joking that one night of fun wouldn't mess settings, that got to me!
Yes, I was on a strict schedule. It helped me stayed focused and on top of everything, especially in regard to Emma. She only had me and I couldn’t let her down. But the thing was that for the first time in our lives, we were not on our own. Aunt Laurel really meant it when she said that I was supposed to be a teenager and not a parent. She started to take care of Emma more and more, mostly because I finally let her.
Emma adored aunt Laurel and my aunt didn't gave me any reason not to trust her, so I did. She gave me the chance to be a teenager and I had no idea what to do with that. Perhaps that was the reason why I stuck to my schedule so strictly. I liked to know what to expect, but apparently that turned me into a robot.
Alexander offers me the bucket of popcorn and I snap out of my thoughts.
″Happy with your choice?″ Alexander whispers.
I laugh when I hear the classical music during a fight scene and I lean to Alexander.
″What did you say?″
″I asked if you liked the movie, but I already know you do.″ Alexander answered with a grin.
A car drives through the window of a restaurant and I grab some popcorn. I always liked action movies, but this one was funny too!
″Sam, can I have some M&M’s?″ Tyler asks.
I nod and I want to give him the bag, but Tyler already reaches for it. In his haste he knocks the popcorn bucket out Alexander hands and I get most of it all over me.
″Shit, sorry!″ Tyler says in a low voice.
″It’s fine,″ I mumble and I continue to eat the popcorn, but now from my lap.
″Can I still have some M&M’s, Sam?″
″No.″
″Why not?″ Tyler asks indignant. ''I told you I was sorry!''
″Because popcorn under your shirt is already a b***h, but chocolate melts!″
Tyler turns his attention back to the movie, but I can see that he is mad.
″Can I have the bucket?″ I ask Alexander.
He nods and gives me the bucket. I put my bag of M&M’s in the bucket, before I give the bucket back to Alexander.
″Please tell the princess to eat above the bucket, so he will not spill everything again.″
Alexander chuckles and he passes the message on to Tyler. I see the annoyed look on Tyler's face, but he actually does it.
″Sorry about your popcorn,″ I say softly.
″Sorry about your M&M’s,″ Alexander responds.
I look at Tyler and I shake my head, Tyler was already halve way trough the bag.
″Well, at least I still have popcorn?″
Suddenly the speakers in my chair start to work and I startle when I hear the loud sound of gunshots. There goes the popcorn again and Alexanders soda.
At first we all stay quiet, but then I start laughing. I can’t help it and it gets worse when people start shushing me. I stand up and leave, going straight to the bathroom.
I look at myself in the mirror and I just sigh. The popcorn everywhere didn’t bother me. My shirt was sticky because of the soda and still it didn’t bother me. I haven’t laughed like that in a long time!
I take my shirt off and I’m glad that I choose to wear a tank top underneath it. I remove the last of the popcorn and I decide to put my hair in a half updo. I grab my shirt and I leave the bathroom.
The movie was almost over, so I decide to kill time in the hall. They are showing trailers of movies and then my gaze falls on something interesting. Merchandise and they are selling t-shirts!
″You are in luck!″ the woman behind the stand says. ″Last day of the sale. We have all kind of themes, so take a look!″
I smile, but I already know what I want. I saw a black hoodie that had The Maze Runner printed on it.
″This one, please.″
The woman smiles, but then she frowns.
″I don’t have it in a smaller size, dear. Are you sure you still want to buy it?″
I nod and I give the woman the money. I put the hoodie on and it is too big for me, but that didn’t matter.

-Samantha's POV
I see Tyler is coming my way and he really looks pissed!
″Where were you?″ Tyler snaps. ″We were looking for you everywhere! You can’t just leave, especially when you don’t have your phone with you!″
″I went to the bathroom to get rid of the popcorn and clean myself up, Tyler. I figured that since the movie was almost over, I wait here and then I saw that stand.″
Tyler grabs his phone and he dials.
″Yes, I found her. We are in hall four.″
I look at Tyler and I suddenly feel bad. He was worried about me, like actually worried.
″Why are you so upset, Tyler? You know I wouldn’t just leave and how could I? I don’t even know where we are right now.″
Tyler lets out a deep sigh and he runs his hand through his hair.
''We figured that you would go to the bathroom, but we didn't knew which one. So we asked around and someone said that while she was in the bathroom, she heard a girl crying. She didn't see who it was, because that person left in a hurry.''
''And that's why you were so worried, because you thought I was crying?''
''Well, I knew you didn't wanted to come. Then the popcorn and the soda thing happened. You left and we couldn't find you, so yes I was worried. Especially when I heard about the crying girl.''
Tyler looks kind of embarrassed and I hug him.
''Just when I decided that you really are the most annoying person I know, you say those things!''
Tyler chuckles and he raises his hand.
''Over here, Alex!''
Alexander walks over to us and he looked mostly worried. In his hand he is holding my jacket and phone.
''Are you okay?'' Alexanders asks.
''She is fine, man. She just went to buy something to wear and I can't blame her. That hoodie is sick!'' Tyler says.
''No, I blame you. I told you popcorn was going to be a b***h to get rid off and I am fine, Alexander. Thank you for bringing my stuff and I'm sorry if you were worried about me.''
I look at Alexander and I smile, but he doesn't return my smile. He still looks worried and also a little mad.
''Just don't do that again.'' Alexander says and he turns to Tyler.
''It's still early, so we can go to the arcade.''
''Yes, that is an excellent idea! Let's go!''
The arcade is full of teenagers. Tyler and Alexander are greeted by friends and schoolmates. We play a few rounds of airhockey and after that, a boy starts talking to me. His told me his name was Leroy and that he was on the team. Leroy said the he had seen me at school and that he wanted to ask me out for a while, but he hasn't because he was really shy. Big fat lie!
Leroy was nice to look at, I couldn't deny that. It was just his personality that was getting on my nerves. So overconfident and he stood close to me, too close. Shy my ass! I can barely hide my relieve when I see Alexander sitting at the bar and I hasty say goodbye to Leroy.
''Are you still mad at me?''
''I was never mad at you,'' Alexander answers. ''I was mad at myself and at Tyler. We just wanted you to relax and have fun tonight.''
''For a robot I had a lot of fun.'' I say and I groan when I see that Tyler started another game of airhockey.
''We are never going home are we?'' I ask weary and I hear Alexander chuckle behind me.
It was almost midnight and I was getting really tired. I'm so tired that I don't realise that I'm leaning against Alexander. He has his arm around my waist and it just feels nice. I relax and I let my head rest against his chest.
''Fine, one more game. After that you can tell Tyler that the robot is going to kill him if he dares starts a new game!''
