“Apply your body oil all over your skin. Don’t leave any parts dry. We are staying outside all day. And don’t forget to spray nice perfume to attract rich men also.”
I rolled my eyes and sighed. My hands were already massaging my body while I tried to listen to my sister’s order.
Finally, we arrived in London, ready to enjoy ourselves. With Angel’s support, I was able to summon Courage to go pick up my belongings from Sean’s apartment. He wasn’t around, thankfully, when I stopped by.
I picked up my stuff and took the $3,000 he’d taken from me months ago in his drawer. I had decided to turn a new leaf and I was determined to see it work.
I had cut all ties with him, erased every information about him, and blocked him on all socials. I had to move on as I embraced this new phase.
I and Angel are single now, and we both have decided to enjoy our life to the fullest. The moment we got to London for this vacation, we forgot all our worries and focused solely on ourselves, doing each and everything that would be good for us.
Today was our first day, and so far it’s pleasing. Ever since I had stepped off the bus and inhaled the fresh air and breeze in London, I felt refreshed. I was going to have fun to the fullest. I appreciate Angel for persuading me to come for this trip.
“You look beautiful, my darling sister,” Angel yelled, standing in front of me.
I smiled. My eyes inspected the neon dress mesh crop top and faux leather miniskirt I had on. For the past few days we got here, I wasn’t feeling it, so today I’ve decided to switch it up. I’m going for something sexier.
“Well, this is more than sexy, baby. You look stunning, b***h,” Angel chimed in, her jar dropping open at the same time.
A blush crept up my cheeks. The lip combo I had applied actually did well in making my face stunning. I took a moment to admire the drip. I had put on my statement glasses and my chunky combat boots. This skirt displayed my curves, and my waist jewelry did justice.
I did look hot, just like Angel confirmed. I was not so well endowed, but I was still curvy with my petite perks and ass that went on for days. I could easily describe myself as a tall glass of sexy champagne. Everything to make a man go crazy was intact and sumptuous.
I wondered why my love life was messy. Well, the saying “no woman can hold a man who doesn’t want to stay” was all true, and I believe it now. I was sexier than that bastard he had been with in bed. I was even more beautiful, but still, he had cheated.
“Hey Charlotte!” Angel interrupted my thoughts as she called my name loudly.
I blinked, returning to reality.
“What’s with you? You look carried away. Don’t tell me you’re still thinking of your dead relationship.”
“No,” I answered immediately, lying through my feet. “I’m not thinking about no one at all, Angel. That’s all in the past and this time is for my glow up.”
“Then why were you lost in—
“I was admiring the beautiful nature here in London.” I smiled, doing a little twirl, rubbing my palms against the other. I added, “We can leave now, my love.”
Angel didn’t buy what I said, but I wasn’t spilling more information further. I pulled her by her hands as we left the room.
It was a windy afternoon and slightly cold, and I was grateful to Angel for forcing me to apply my body oil before coming out. My skin would have been looking cracky if I had disobeyed her and done as I wanted. My skin was always flaky most times, so I was glad I applied the body oil as I went to have my mocktail.
Angel had gone to talk to some random stranger she had just met. I wasn’t actually in the mood to talk, so I decided to go grab my mocktail to keep to the vibe.
Sipping my mocktail and watching the performance was quite relieving, and I hadn’t realized my drink had almost finished because I was carried away.
As I got up to get another mocktail, lo and behold, a tall, smooth-talking man with a jawline that could cut glass walked up to me, holding a coconut-shell mocktail garnished with lime and mint.
As I looked straight into his face, the first word that came to my mind was if seeing were human, then he would be the embodiment of it effortlessly.
His eyes were like two deep, hypnotic seas, with intense and sharp wits and unreadable glints.
I could not deny losing myself in them.
His face was also an example of perfection.
His lips were an enticing shade of dark pink, and the fact it was stretched in a sneaky smirk had my insides melting into a slippery peel.
My thighs clenched at the same time, and I was seemingly drowning in his hulk of a man.
He looked like he was in his late forties with his broad shoulders and veiny hands.
He was handsome as hell, physically dashing.
A sharp grin slid across my lips before he finally spoke.
“Hey pretty, you seem quite mesmerized.
I got you this.
I’ve been admiring from a distance and I finally decided to walk up to you.
Hope I don’t get turned down.”
