A second chance?
I panted as I surveyed the parking lot. I had been running for ten minutes, looking for Lee as she darted through the door. I had searched the classrooms, hallway, still, I didn't see her. Jogging back to the entrance, the restroom was my next search and the only place I hadn't been. Also, it was my last resort. If she wasn't there, that means she had hitched a ride from someone to go home. Yet, that would be unlike her since she hardly went home with anyone save for her chauffeur, Rey, Kellen or Alyssa. Perhaps, she might call one of the boys mentioned above to come to pick her up. My feet echoed as I walked into the hallway. I heard sniffles when I got to the restroom door.
