Mini Update

Hey friends! It's been a minute--an unplanned, unscheduled hiatus. I didn't mean to be away for any amount of time, let alone several months without any explanation. I do try to be transparent with you all and let you know when I'm going to be taking a break or on vacation or whatever the case may be. However, this time around, life caught me by surprise. Things hadn't been going too well at my job. I had taken on a lot of other responsibilities due to a coworker leaving and then, during the holidays, I picked up a horrendous stomach bug that made me really sick. I had no energy, and my job was literally sucking all the life out of me. So, I quit my job, was able to, thankfully, recover from sickness, and then I started a new job in a very short span of time. I'm coming into a new rhythm at work, which will hopefully allow me to begin posting regularly again. I will be honest: Changing Her Stars will be my priority right now for posting, and I promise to let you know when I get back to this story. I appreciate you taking the time to read this, and hopefully, you'll stick around to finish this story with me and/or check out the others. I'd love to see you over at Changing Her Stars, where the goal is to begin posting in February. Thank you, and I appreciate you all more than you know :)
