Chapter Three “I can’t seem to stop” Juniper POV “How many times have you done it?” Ian asks me, a concerned and somber facial expression resting on his perfect features. “A few times a day for the last few weeks.” I admit. He pulls me in for a hug. “Babe, we need to get you help.” Tears start rolling down my face. “I know.” “We need to tell mom and dad today.” I let out a whimper. Mom and dad are incredibly supportive, but I don’t want to disappoint them. I tell him as much. “Honey, they won’t be disappointed. They’ll be worried, yes, but with all the s**t you’ve been through? It’s perfectly understandable that you struggle like you do.” He comforts while rubbing my back affectionately. The bell rings, and we break apart. “Okay babe. Here’s what’s going to happen. You are going to keep an open mind towards boys, and I am going to be there with you when you tell mom and dad. And I’ll be there for you through therapy, and anything else you need.” I smile gratefully and wipe my tears before nodding. He takes my hand and we make it towards second period. After school I go to the local Starbucks in order to meet with one of the agents who’s pushing me to sign a contract. We talked for about half an hour. She asked me basic questions like height, weight, availability, brands I would be interested, so on and so forth. Some of the questions made me slightly uncomfortable, but I still answered them truthfully. Her name is Linda. She’s a petite blonde, and absolutely gorgeous. “Height?” “5’5.” “Weight?” “120.” “Bra cup size?” “D.” “Clothes size?” “2, or XS.” “Wow, you have a perfect body. Do you work out or diet?” “No, it’s just good genetics.” “Alrighty,” She starts, “I would like to offer you an official contract. Go home, read it over, and let me know your decision by tomorrow, please.” “Okay, sounds good.” I respond. She offers me a kind smile before handing me a few papers. I tuck them away in my backpack and head out for a little retail therapy. After visiting several stores ang getting my acrylics done I head back home. It’s around 8pm. “Mom? Dad?” They’re both sitting in the kitchen, enjoying dinner. “Hey baby. How did your meeting go?” Dad asks. “It went well. I got offered a contract where I would be working with brands like J. Crew, Victoria’s Secret, Guess, and other high end stores.” “Wow, that’s great, honey! Do you want us to look over the contract and let you know what we think and what needs to be changed?” I hand them the papers in response. I take a seat and Andrew brings me dinner- fillet mingion, “This actually looks great, although I would suggest making it a non exclusive one.” “Thanks Dad!” I text Linda, letting her know my revision. She responds two minutes later saying that it’s no problem, and that she’ll take care of, and asks when we can meet again. I tell her about two weeks so that I can get acclimated to school. She responds in the affirmative. I finally did it! I'm finally going to sign with an agency!
