55. Queen Of Diamonds

I pull the first set of crystal balls out of the oven, and it feels like I'm home. I put them on the display and take a picture. Then I upload it to Evo. -The first crystal balls have been made in Darkburn.-
Cyrus carries a box and I point them out. "They are amazing. I have your paper cups. White with the blue coffino logo. Conner wants to order the souvenir cups in black with the blue logo."
"That's perfect. Can I make coffee here?"
"I think so. Conner said he ordered the coffee and flavors. The coffee shop is pretty well ready to go. You won't want to make any food yet. 2 weeks is too long to sit."
Granny comes in and puts $100 on the counter, then leaves with a ball.
"I need a cash register."
"They're not here yet. Drogon ordered them." He sits the box of cups down and leaves.
I fill the big containers with coffee. Then I run out. "COFFINO HAS COFFEE." The boys stop what they're doing and come over. I jump up and down and stare at Akmae. "I probably should have shown you how to make it."
Mike makes the first cup and sips. "That's horrible. What did you do to it?"
"Nothing."
Conner cracks up laughing. "Woman, you were supposed to take the packaging out and run plain water through it. Come here, Akmae. I'll show you how to drain the tanks and make coffee."
Conner ends up showing everyone. Then we have coffee again.
"Here's the recipe list for each cup. Follow that until you have it memorized. And that's it for the coffee."
"MOCHA MAGIC ME." I try to climb over the counter.
Akmae reads the list. "We don't have that here."
"CONNER." I glare at him.
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU NAMED IT." He takes the list. "Lady luck."
Akmae takes the paper back. "No sizes?"
Mike shakes his head. "No point. Make everything large. I need plain black coffee."
Conner nods. "Mike's our best customer."
Akmae hands him coffee.
"Thank you. That's much better."
"LADY LUCK."
Akmae hands me the chocolate coffee. "It's all free?"
Drogon laughs. "It is until the cash register comes in. Joker."
"How much is it?"
I sip mine. It's so perfect. "$2 for plain black. $5 for anything else. Coffee mugs will be $20. You can put whatever they want in it for no extra charge."
Someone knocks on the walk-up window. We stare at it while Akmae opens it. "I want this crystal ball right here." A lady holds up her phone. "And a black coffee."
Conner gives her a coffee and Akmae finds the ball. He passes it out the window and comes back with money. "She gave me $105. Anyone got change?"
"She left. She gave you a tip. I need 100 for the ball. Shipping mud is expensive."
"So the balls are $100?"
"Yep."
"How did she know that?"
Conner shakes his head. "We don't ask questions. The magicians do what they want."
I nod. "Stay out of their way. One paid me in sour cream once. It's all fine."
"I feel better now." Mike leaves with his coffee.
The other boys order something then leave. I order 1 of everything. I have to try them. They are so good. Queen of Hearts and Lady luck are my favorites.
Then I run to the big wheel. The boys got my coupons made. I have lots of printouts now. I fill every slot on the wheel with something. Then I put a big screen TV on it.
Clayton comes in and I run for him. "SPIN THE WHEEL."
"What?"
"SPIN THE WHEEL."
"You need to lay off the coffee." He spins it.
"You win free coffee. Over there. Go get it." I give him the coupon and push him towards the shop.
I jump around for a while, then I fill in the rest of the prize wheels.
Monte smiles. "You did good with these."
"Spin the wheel."
He spins it and picks me up. I snuggle him and yawn. He's so warm. "I won a caffeine crashing girl."
He laughs and wakes me up. Clayton and Akmae are behind the coffee shop counter doing something on a laptop. Monte's sitting on a chair with me on his lap. I sit up groggily.
Clayton cracks up laughing. "You drooled on him."
Monte rubs my back. "She was sleeping hard. You feel better?"
I stretch straight up with my arms. "I need coffee."
He grabs my hips and holds them kind of tight. His eyes roam over me. "No more coffee for you. You had 1 of everything already. It's almost time for dinner anyway."
I plop against him and close my eyes.
"I guess she wasn't done with her nap."
Conner runs in. "TRY THIS."
My eyes open in time to see him spot me. I figure he'll say something about me sleeping on Monte, but he runs over and shoves a straw in my mouth. "That's good."
"Queen of Diamonds. Go get dressed. I have an idea."
"No." I slam my head into Montes chest.
"Conner, let her wake up. We're going to need dinner anyway."
"Fine. I'll make them figure out food."
I sleep until Monte picks on me to make me wake up. Then he puts me in the chair beside him. It's cold and hard.
"Just wait. We're going to eat. You can sit in your own seat for that."
"It's cold."
"Trade me spots. My seat's warm."
I trade him spots. Clayton and Akmae are still behind the counter laughing about something. Then Cyrus and Drogon come in with food. Soon, we're all sitting in the coffee shop eating. The boys talk and I try to wake up.
Then Conner pulls me out. "I want to take a video of you walking to the food court. Then you sit down and sip the drink. I called Mary, and she sent the 4 girls from that palace that usually help you."
"For you." I pull him against me by his belt and kiss him.
"I'm going to be doing you before we even get home, woman."
"Good."
He grabs my ass and kisses my neck.
"Don't do that in the middle of the floor." Cyrus crosses his arms. "We're all here."
I giggle and run to the bathroom. The girls come in and make me fancy. I put on my super sexy black dress from Safiri and some tall heels. When I step out, Conner hands me a glittery red and black drink. It's in the weird glass. It is pretty.
"It's a hurricane glass."
"This is a gorgeous drink."
"It's the queen of diamonds. It has to be. I'll get on the escalator in front of you and record you from that angle. I'm not recording up your dress."
"You know you want to."
"I sure as hell do. I'll get up top, and you walk around me. Go sit by Drogon and sip the drink."
"Easy enough." I follow him onto the escalator.
"I can't use this either. That dress is amazingly low." I stick out my boobs a little. "I am going to record you bouncing on my d**k later."
I giggle and shake my head. "None of that. That's weird."
"Alright. Go down and come back."
I take a lap through the escalators. Then I walk by him and over to the boys. They are all sitting around a couple of tables talking. Conner has them each drinking something different. All sorts of glasses are on the table. Drogon stands up and helps me into my seat. I cross my legs and sip my drink. Conner zooms in on a beer mug to end it. "That's perfect. Thank you all."
"Why were you recording a cup?"
"I'm showing off the pit logo. Going to thank Akmae for the designs."
I cross my arms. "I thought you were showing me off."
"That too. You are sexy." He winks and sits with us. Then he puts it on a laptop. "I don't see anything I have to edit out."
The boys pass it around and it gets posted.
Drogon sips his drink and rubs my leg. "Are we about ready to call it a night?"
I roll my eyes. "I finally got dressed, and we're going home."
Lila texts me. -You coming back?-
-No. I'm going to stay with the boys.-
She doesn't say anything else and Drogon kisses my head. "I love you, babygirl."
"I love you too."
"Let's call it a night."
"Yea."
