21. Amazing Day

Mike and I wake up at 8. We take a shower and I take him. Monte and Jax come in when we sit down for breakfast.

"Any issues?"

"They passed right out."

"So did Clayton. Feeding them was genius."

Jax nods. "They're all going to feel like s**t today."

I stretch. "This is a good spot for a hangover at least. They can sit and watch the ocean."

Drogon comes in shortly after and lays his head down on the table. The boys laugh at him and keep eating. I rub his head and that makes him fall back to sleep.

Monte sits back. "You might have to take naps with them today."

"No. I'm swimming. I want their activity sheet too. This is the same resort I stayed in last time. They do stuff. Remember the cookies?"

"I do remember the cookies. I'll go find that paper and a newspaper."

Jax refills his coffee. "Grab me one too."

Monte nods as he leaves.

Mike kisses my head. "You swimming in the ocean or pool?"

"Probably both."

Cyrus comes in and sits. "I'm alright."

Jax laughs. "Keep telling yourself that."

"I'm going to have to."

Then Monte comes back with a stack of newspapers and my paper. "I sent swim trunks and t-shirts to everyone."

I read while they laugh at Cyrus and Drogon.

Then Conner runs in. "Heal me, woman. My head is going to explode." He puts it in my lap.

"I doubt that." I put my hands on his head and concentrate on healing him. I push in as much magic as I can. "That help?"

He stands up. "Yea. Headache is gone. My stomach feels better. I'm still a little run-down, but I'll be alright. Thank you, baby." He kisses my head and sits beside me.

Jax shakes his head. "That was cheating."

"I don't care. My head f*****g hurt." He gets a plate of food and some coffee.

I heal Cyrus. Then I do Drogon, but he doesn't wake up.

"Damn, that did work." Cyrus gets some food too. "I'm not 100% but I'm a lot better. Thank you."

"You're welcome."

Slowly, everyone comes in, and I heal them as much as I can.

I check my phone while everyone finishes eating. "I have 11,000 friend requests."

Mike laughs. "Leave me your phone. I'll change your settings and get it fixed."

"Thank you."

Lila gets her phone out. "How the hell? DAMN. That picture of us has 5 million likes. The most I've ever had is 300."

Jax laughs. "It's even been on the news. The queen has made an appearance on social media. That is different for her."

Josh checks his phone and nearly spits out his coffee. "Did not see that coming. That picture with the 3 of us has 4 million likes."

Clayton shakes his head. "17 million for me and Thena together and the top comment is my mom saying she's going to frame it."

We laugh and Dacious rolls his eyes at his phone. "10 million for me and my brothers. 12 million for Thena and Cyrus. Our people like her more than us."

We check the stats on the rest of the pictures.

"WE'RE GOING SCUBA DIVING." Lila throws the paper and pulls me out of the chair.

"In pajamas?" Monte shakes his head. "I didn't send clothes for either of you. I have no idea what you would want."

"We'll figure it out."

I toss my phone at Mike before she pulls me out the door.

We run to the shop with 5 guards chasing us. It takes us half an hour, but we look amazing in our new bikinis. Then she gets a waterproof case for her phone. I hope she doesn't try to take pictures of us constantly. I do want to try this. We get to the room for a class just in time. Monte and Atlas join us. I'm surprised more of them didn't.

The instructor shows us a few signals and teaches us how to work the stuff. Then we go out on a boat.

"As you can see, we're not that far away from land. It's not very deep here. This is perfect for beginners. But there is a reef right below us. If you have an underwater camera, you'll get some amazing shots. I want everyone to sit along the edge of the boat. I will check your equipment, then you will fall backwards into the water. Swim away from the boat, so the next person doesn't drop on you."

Monte goes first. Then she goes to the other end of our row and another guy goes. Then it's my turn. She checks the knobs and seals around my mouth. "Fall backwards. You're good to go."

I shiver and force myself. It's weird. Then I get underwater and hold my breath. I panic and forget what to do.

Monte pulls me away. Then he points to the bubbles coming out of his gear. I grab his arm and take a deep breath. For some reason, it surprises me that it works. I smile and give him a hug. Then Lila swims over to us. We have fins on our feet. That does make this easier. We stay super close to Monte and Atlas and swim around the reef for an hour and a half. We point out everything to each other and the boys. Then Atlas points at his tank. Monte nods and pulls on me. We're running out of air. I grab Lila and point at her phone. We take a pic with the reef behind us before we leave.

I barely have enough strength to get back on the boat. "That was a lot of work."

Lila drops her gear. "Yea, I need a nap. I didn't think we worked that hard."

The instructor smiles. "You were wearing a lot of gear and fighting with the current. Not everyone can stay down as long as you did. You should be proud of yourselves."

After we take a nice nap in our rooms, we eat a late lunch.

Mike hands me my phone. "People can't add you now unless they are friends with your friends. But you have to make sure you know them before you agree. If you don't know them in real life, you decline the request."

"Ok."

"I added Monte, Jax, Mary, and me for you."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome. What are you going to do next?"

"I don't know. But scuba diving was so fun. You should have come."

"Next time, babygirl. I wanted to be dry in case anything happened. Drogon and Conner weren't feeling the greatest."

"That's true. Maybe we can come back with only us and spend a day doing that."

"That would be amazing." He kisses my head. "I love that idea. We can scuba dive, and take a nap, then have a romantic dinner on the beach."

I sit on his lap. "You're perfect."

Clayton takes the paper. "Oh s**t, there's a zip line over the water park."

Jax nods. He's got his own paper. "Deep sea fishing."

The boys disagree about which one they're going to do for a while. Then they group up and leave.

"Hula hoop contest or spa? Both sound fun." Lila sits the paper down. We're the only people here.

"Spa."

1 salt scrub and mani-pedi later, we find most of the boys in the water park area. They found a pool they like. I watch Clayton. "He's going to break his neck."

Akmae laughs. "No. It's a wave rider. If he falls, he'll slide off the back. They're fun to surf on."

"Have you tried it?"

"About 5 times now."

I laugh as Clayton lands on his ass and slides up and out.

"It's like a slide. They push water up. If you fall, it pushes you out. You want to try it?"

"I'm too relaxed for that right now. I just got out of the spa. I'm going to lay out in the sun and watch you guys."

"That works. We'll keep you entertained."

Drogon goes next. He's pretty good at it. Then Conner goes. That boy is sexy as hell. All those wet muscles. It's been too long since I've had him. I know what he's doing later.

Lila lays on the chair next to me. "You seem to be enjoying the show."

I pull my eyes off Conner and laugh. "Yea, I was planning out his night."

Mike rubs my knee. "We're back from fishing, babygirl. I need to try that thing."

"Have fun. I'll lie here and enjoy the show."

"Ornery, you're about to fall asleep again."

I stretch. "I got a massage."

He winks and pulls his shirt off. He is damn sexy too. I watch him walk over and get in line.

Cyrus sits on the chair beside me. He puts his arm over his eyes. "f*****g sun is killing me."

"Alcohol is still messing with you." I take his arm and heal him some more. "You're getting worse instead of better. Go take a nap. I'll make sure you're awake for dinner."

"Mike turned in the extra rooms already. He didn't want to be charged for them. I'll be alright."

"Nobody used the 3rd bedroom in our room. Go to sleep there."

Lila nods. "You can take the room I was in, if they did. You look like hell and I don't need it anymore."

"I'll be..."

I cut him off. "Go. You look like hell. Go to sleep for an hour. You need to get out of the sun anyway."

"Yea, I do need to do that. Fine." He finally goes in.

"He was cranky."

"Yea. I think he needs a nap."

I watch Mike on the wave rider. His muscles are a work of art. I am truly lucky.

"Have you seen my brother?" Dacious looks around.

"I sent him to take a nap. Don't go waking his cranky ass up yet."

Him and Atlas crack up laughing and go over to the pool.

I must fall asleep because Clayton wakes me up when he blocks my sun.

"What?"

"I need a minute."

"Well, sit over there. You're dripping on me." He doesn't move. I look up at him, and he's staring at Lila. I look at Lila, and she's staring at his stomach. "MOVE OVER THERE." Both of them jump. Then she puts her sunglasses on fast.

Clayton plops down on the seat and rubs his hair around. "This weekend was fun."

"Yea, it really was. Maybe next time we can figure out about the concert a little sooner."

He laughs. "Yea, but at least we made it."

Monte blocks my sun next. "We're going up for dinner. Then we're going home."

"Aww, 1 more night?"

"No. Everyone has work or school tomorrow. We have to get back to real life. Although this was an amazing day."

"Yes, it was. We need to do it again sometime."

"I want to do scuba diving next time. It's further out. The reef is 50 feet underwater. I want to see that." He helps me up.

"I do too. That's a perfect plan."

I head up to the room. Jax is reading the paper. Josh is sleeping on the couch. I find Cyrus in the 3rd bedroom. He's sleeping on his stomach with only sleep pants on. I rub my fingertips up his back.

He shivers and relaxes. I love feeling that. "You need to wake up for dinner."

He shakes his head. "That feels amazing."

That makes me smile. "But I can't do this forever, and you need to eat."

He makes some whiny noises, then gets up. "Let's go eat."

I put my hand on his chest and lightly touch it. Then I step in closer and kiss it. He pulls my chin up and gives me a real kiss. I miss his kisses and his skin.

"Ask me how I knew to run, so I could beat your mates here." Lila pulls me away. "They're like 2 seconds behind me." She pulls me to the table and pushes me into a chair. Then she sprays some sunscreen at me.

Cyrus comes out and she sprays him too.

Jax puts the paper down. "That's enough."

Then the rest of the boys pile in the room. They're so loud. We eat dinner, then everyone goes home. Dacious and Atlas come with us again.
