I didn't awake until it was well past midnight. The sky was dark and the twinkle of the stars winked gently at me as the moon welcomed my wakeful presence. I looked around and saw myself in the room I shared with Malek. Immediately grateful, I ran to my closet and grabbed some of the clothes I had missed wearing. My black ripped jeans, a tight neck high, sleeveless floral shirt and my ballet flats to complete the look.
