The morning sky glowed pale gold as the royal carriage rolled down the forest path toward the Thomas family home. The hooves of the dark stallions struck the earth in a steady rhythm, and sunlight caught the crest of the king’s house carved into the carriage door — a symbol of power that made villagers bow as it passed.
