Alpha Tristan cleared his throat and reigned in his smile then he adjusted his sitting position by straightening his back. He was like he remembered that he acting out of character and resumed his stoic expression. I frowned inwardly in disapproval but I was still pleased he showed his true self to me even if it was only a few minutes.
I pretended like I was too focused in my icecream to notice him. I saw him flick his wrist and checked the time on his watch, then he immediately told up and said.
"Let's go, we have spent too much time here" he didn't wait to get a reply from me, he just turned and left.
I sighed as I got up as well. Admittedly, it was good while it lasted. It was not enough but it was something. I also dumped our snack and rushed after him.
