Alpha Tristan narrated to his father how the van had developed an issue causing us to stay one night at the human town, he obviously omitted our affair and Nero's disturbance.
We were at the Alpha mansion, in the big hall where Old alpha Davies was seated. Immediately we arrived, we went straight see him. Tristan and his father were seated and talking while I stood quietly by the side with my face faced down.
Davies nodded in understanding and then turned to look at me with a disgusted look on his face, "All that is fine my son, I know you are capable of taking care of yourself. But carrying this dead weight along, I won't be surprised if her bad luck caused the delay" he commented.
