Ch10 Getting Ready

Pam pov

I had been working so hard all day I didn't know what time it was until Seth came and got me. He told me I should go take a break and get ready for tonight. He was scheduled to handle the front desk for the night and the twins Benjamin and Abraham were going to work security along with detective Jack. Jack was always coming around checking on us and it didn't help that he was like best friends with Larry.

"Hey Pam. Yall girls be safe tonight." Is all he says to me as I walk past. He looked tense and ready for action when I looked in his direction. I took the back stairs up to our apartment to avoid the traffic from the guest. It wasn't the top floor but we were right underneath it. This is where we all lived except for Larry who lived somewhere on the hotel grounds. Me,Sarah and Kate had the room closest to the staries and it was the biggest one on this floor. As I walked in I can hear Kate fussing with Donna about what Diana had picked up for her to wear tonight. I just shook my head at their bickering as Sarah and Dean giggled at Kate's mortified experience.

"I don't understand why I can't just stay in the kitchen." Kate huffed at us.

"Because you are the head chef and this is a big event not just for you but for all of us." Diana throws back at Kate meeting her menacing glare. Kate finally gave in and stumped back into the room.

"I don't know what is wrong with the outfit. It's just a simple pants suit with a jacket." Diana says while going back to fiddling with Sarah's hair. She had made her hair into a really pretty ponytail with curls and she was in the process of wrapping Sarah's white bread hair around the ponytail. The ponytail made her look like the sweet person she was and the braid made her look like an old Greek goddess. Dean pulls a beautiful powder blue princess cut dress out of a bag and helps Sarah get into it before having her turn around. Donna had just finished her makeup before Kate's outburst. She is getting ready to secure a white lace mask on Sarah's face as Diana finishes her look with clear jewels all in her hair. a single crystal necklace was placed on her neck that looked very old.

"You are up next." Dean says to me as Kate steps back out into our sitting room. She is gorgeous in an all white pants and jacket set with a blue camisole underneath that had a little dip. She is stunning in a business woman type of way. Her short hair was all brushed to the left side of her head and only allowed her white streak of hair to be pinned behind her right ear in a beautiful area of bronze bobby pins that made the pattern of a star.

"You are beautiful." We all gushed at her. She was never one to look girly or do anything special to her appearance.

" If I wasn't tacking I would marry you." Dean says to her with a smile as Kate just stares at him.

"That's it I'm not going." Kate says to us throwing her hands in the air getting ready to walk back to her room to call it a night.

"OH no you don't. You are not leaving me alone by myself. Plus there are two big men wanting to meet the woman who gave them her two cents this morning." Sarah says as she grabs Kate by the arm and pulls her over to the chair so Donna could finish her makeup and put her mask on her. It was lace in the colors of white and dark blue.

" Now you, geet to your room and get ready. You are going to make us all late if you keep gawking at my handy work." Diana says pointing her finger at me like she had the power to do some harm. I hurried down the hall into my room shaking my head. I really don't want to go either, I would have just been fine sitting at the desk all night. I was originally excited to go but when Sarah had come back down gushing about the two men who had called this morning about the power I was mortified.

Flash back….

"Yall have two big Greek gods looking for y'all." Sarah gushed at me and Kate in the kitchen.

" What are you going on about?" Kate said while whipping up the most beautiful looking breakfast as I sipped on my cup of coffee.

"The two guys that called and you two were being rude to them this morning." Me and Kate froze not saying a word just staring at Sarah with wide eyes.

"Well they couldn't stop asking about the two of yall. Where both of you were at and what the both of you are like. The flirty one said he was just going to come right down to the kitchen to find you." She says pointing her finger at Kate. Kate dropped whatever she was working on almost setting the kitchen on fire cursing as she stormed off to the pantry for something.

"And the angry one said he was coming down to find you to apologize." She says to me with a grin on her face. I almost choked on my coffee. I slowly put down my coffee cup and turned to the door just as Kate came back in with a big knife at the ready.

"And what did these men look like?" I ask Sarah as I looked out the door.

"OH you know, giant monsters for men." She says while belly laughing as I grabbed a pan off the counter and Kate gose all defensive with her knife. All we managed to do is scare the crap out of Lilly as she walked in with Rebecca.

"And what is going on here?" Rebecca asked as she caught Kate's knife before it hit the door.

"OH nothing." Sarah says while walking off to the fridge.

"Just telling these two about our guest looking for them for being rude on the phone to them."

"OH so that's who was poking around the front desk this morning." Lilly states while sitting down at the counter.

"They are mouth watering." Rebecca says with a smile.

"I was not rude to anyone Sarah." I say back, finishing my coffee and getting ready to go.

"They were rude to us." I said walking out of the kitchen and hurrying back to my office. I had stayed there most of the day hiding out.

There is a knock on my door that brings me back to what I was supposed to be doing.

"Darling, are you ready?" Dean asks. I take a deep breath and step out of my room. Everybody's jaws drop.

"D**m girl!" Is all anyone can say.
