I knock softly on Maddy's bedroom door. "Maddy? Are you awake yet?" I tell, but we get no response. I give Jason a questioning look but he shrugs ignorantly. I knock on her door again, but still no response.
I gently open her door. When I look around her room, Maddy is nowhere to be seen. "Maddy?!" I shout loudly, almost in panic. Where is she?
"Maddy honey? Where are you?" I ask slightly panicked through the mind link.
"Jeez mom, no need to panic. I'm in the kitchen." She responds.
I breathe a sigh of relief and inform Jason.
"What's she doing downstairs so early? She's never up this early." Jason says.
"I don't know, maybe it's her wolf?" I ask hopefully.
"Possibly, let's go downstairs." Jason answers.
