Ruby goes wild

we enter the lavish appartment that I now recognise as a pack house. with a whole floor dedicated for food. cooking and consumption both. I see the employees are really omegas working. my bio parents are just and fair so they all earn an honest paycheck while doing all this work, all the members have jobs, some more important than others, like the warriers look like ordinary people but are always alert, waiting, looking for intruders. the betas are the royals second in command. we are in the wolf kindom so this is the wolf heirachy. I know nothing about the dragon life.

When Amethyst suddenly said "Finally" as she stretched in my mind. as she teaches me all about dragon kind. we have a king, who rules with his queen, they have a second in command also, and the rest either tend to the young or are warriors. I couldnt let the others feel left out so I learned about the heirachy of all my creatures that day on and off. Ryker gently put me on the couch facing my parents, I leaned into him. I love the smell of rain and popcorn. I wonder what I smell like? " CHocolate and roses" he says. did I say something aloud again? can he read minds? is he like me? I didnt see a daylight ring?

I dazed out of my parents and Mate's converstaion. its none of my business. I wanna stretch my many limbs. my mate, obviously feeling this brings it up. "Yes of course. Just remember to stay within the territory." they both say. I jump up and practically run outside, I jump and shift into Amethyst, as she needed a stretch more than the others. and suddenly I see another dragon. Ryker. hes a blue dragon with irridescent green when the light catches. he looks like me.we chase each other in the sky for a bit until I shift into Ruby, my Phoenix, Ryker follows suit, we look almost identical, with fire trace like mine but while my fire is green, his is blue.

We both land as we shift into our wolves. while mine is white and gold, Rykers is black and Silver. we nip playfully and stay within the limited forests in the territory. My vampire Side was next as Crystal surfaced, followed by Amber, my fae. by the time we had finished, it was really late so we shifted into our phoenix but as I was about to take flight I was suddenly surrounded by metal. a cage I was panicking, my mate shifted to try and free me but she got tazed.he landed on a ground with a thud, a c***k and nothing but pain. they tranqed me and I slipped into darkness alone.

I woke up with a start, still in a cage, surrounded by other rare birds and 2 humans. I looked up in fear, "oh look. its awake." one of the guys said. it opened the door and reached his fat hand in the cage. I bit it hard and it tasted salty and like old pennies. as expected he recoiled his hand and I jumped at the chance to leave the open cage. I didnt make it tho as his pal closed the door too quicky. "Are you crazy Mike?!" said the second dude. "Sorry Martin" Mike said. brothers obviously. I missed my mate, my home, my family. Amethyst was getting antsy, as was I, I didnt belong in a cage.

the thought to shift into something larger like Amethyst crossed my mind but im not sure the metal would give out. plus I would have exposed the shifter world to humans. thats apparently a big no no. I was groggy because of the drug they gave me so I went back to sleep. I heard the guys mention money then I was out like a light.

I woke up when the sun hit me, we had landed by the looks of it, so far from home. they take me to a "Sanctuary for Rare Birds" and I panic. No I cant be here! I start making a big fuss and they had to tranq me again.I refused to go into that sweet, dark night as I sqawked and sqealed until they had no choice but to give me a double dose of tranquiliser. feeling my heart slow I sluggishly lift a wing, as my breathing slows and my small body goes numb and heavy and I fall asleep before my body hits the floor of the cage.
