As if fighting normally against the elite desert scorpion isn’t hard enough, the party suffered from the intimidation released by it. Intimidation is a trait from some mini-boss class rank monster and higher. The wind hawk field boss Ryu encountered didn’t have this trait but the elite desert scorpion monster caused intimidation just by looking at it. A player can ignore this effect if they have a higher level than the monster but clearly, Ryu’s party level is still far below it.
