Third Person’s POV:

“D! EVERYONE! THEY ARE HERE, GET READY!” Devin shouts as he reads the message Dana sent.

DANA: We’re at the turn, go and get ready.

DEVIN: Got it, thanks!

They find themselves at Lover’s Lake, where Derick has meticulously planned a romantic setup for Emily. He is determined to make another month of their relationship truly memorable for both of them. Devin and his girlfriend have been invaluable in helping Derick set up for this special event, and he expresses his gratitude for the support they have provided. As they hear a car approaching, they prepare for the surprise. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a wedding proposal, with everyone dressed in white. However, this is not a typical proposal.

Dana arrives, and both she and Derick step out of the car. Emily, bewildered, looks around and asks, “Woah, what’s all of this?” She turns to Derick, her face beaming with confusion, and inquires, “What’s all of this, luv?”

Derick lovingly fixes the hair that has fallen behind her ear and says, “Happy monthsary, luv. This is all for you, and I invited some friends.”

“Awe! Thanks, luv, and thank you, everyone,” she looks at them and then back at Derick, her smile radiating joy and surprise.

The gentle breeze rustled the leaves, creating a perfect ambiance for a lakeside picnic at Lover’s Lake. Derick, seizing the opportune weather, felt that this was the ideal moment to pose a significant question.

"Luv, I want to ask you something," he declared, prompting Emily to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear as curiosity sparkled in her eyes.

Without revealing much, Derick motioned for her to follow him to his car. Upon opening the back door, Emily was pleasantly surprised to discover a plethora of decorations, two beautifully arranged bouquets, and a stuffed toy. Derick presented one bouquet, stating, "This is for today, and that one is for the years we weren't together." Intrigued, Emily received the flowers just as Derick, unexpectedly dropping to one knee, and said,

Indeed, Esmey Milan Layne, for the years we spent together, excluding the days you wandered away from me," they chuckled. "I extend my gratitude for your unwavering support. You are the one I want and will continue on wanting, Milan. You are the bane of my existence, the air I breathe, and the light that dispels my darkness. I love you for eternity."

In the presence of those who beheld the spectacle, Derick revealed a token of commitment, not in the form of a wedding band but a promise ring, symbolizing a pledge that resonated through the ages.

Upon hearing Derick's profound words, Emily welled up with tears. It was as though his utterances had the power to dispel the burdens of the past, reaching the depths of her heart and soul, evoking a cascade of joyous tears. The promise made, coupled with the weight of those ancient words, brought about a profound sense of elation.

Then he continues, "I want to court you again, Milan. Can I be your boyfriend for the second time?" Even though it wasn't a traditional proposal, tears welled up in everyone's eyes"

Without hesitation, Emily joyfully accepted, declaring, "You certainly may. Not just today, this time, or the third time, but for the rest of my life. You have a lifetime pass to be my lover, luv." Derick gently slid the promise ring onto her finger, sealing the moment with a tender kiss on her forehead.

"In another life, Milan, I would still choose you. Even if you run away from me a thousand times, I will always find and long for you."

The emotional scene unfolded, leaving everyone in awe. Dana, caught up in the moment, joyously captured photos with her camera, encouraging the couple to smile.
